The main purpose of the course is communication. In the First module for beginners – Russian 1 you will learn the Russian Alphabet, to introduce yourself, talk about your family, the city you live in, your house and your hobbies. There is a lot of interaction in the class. You will learn by practicing short conversations with your classmates. You will be able to ask questions, give reactions on a selection of topics, read and write short texts. Grammar is offered in a functional way to serve the purpose of communication. By the end of the course you will reach level A1 according to CEFR
In the Second module for advanced – Russian 2 we move on to the next level, learning new words, making longer sentences, talking about familiar topics and adding few new ones – food culture and eating habits, ordering in the restaurant, daily activities and traveling, talking about past and making plans for the future. We strive to achieve A2- level according to CEFR
